Bakers Delight - Cheese and Chive Scone with Salmon & Crème Fraiche Recipe


Easy to make in under 10 minutes!

While it looks like a show-stopper, this scone recipe is super easy to make. Whether you’re dishing up a feast to impress, or after a simple snack for a low-key gathering, this scone recipe with cheese and chive won’t disappoint.

Simply top Bakers Delight Cheese & Chive scones with crème fraiche, smoked salmon, ribbons of cucumber and salt & pepper. Then, serve it up with fresh lemon for a refreshing tangy treat. The only problem you’ll have is making sure there’s enough for leftovers.

Prep - 10 mins, Serves - 2, Difficulty - Easy

Ingredients

2 Bakers Delight Cheese & Chive Scones
4 tbsp of crème fraiche
2 Lebanese cucumbers
100g sliced smoked salmon
Lemon wedges to serve
Salt & pepper to season

Method

STEP 1

Using a vegetable peeler, create large ribbons of cucumber, using both cucumbers

STEP 2

Cut both Bakers Delight Cheese & Chive Scones in half

STEP 3

On the bottom half of each scone, layer 2 tbsp of crème fraiche, slices of smoked salmon, ribbons of cucumber and salt & pepper. Replace the top of the scone on top of the fillings and serve immediately with a wedge of fresh lemon
